Sri Ram Ashram in Haridwar, India

Our recent visit to Sri Ram Ashram in Haridwar, India, a home for abandoned children, was a life-changing experience filled with emotions and sentiments. Sri Ram Ashram is home to 85 children brought there by the police after they were found abandoned. When a new child arrives at the orphanage, the children embrace them with open arms, they become siblings, and these bonds remain for the rest of their lives.

The ashram is committed to each child until they are established in life, including all levels of education, career, and marriage. Many of their children, now married with families of their own and leading successful careers throughout India and abroad, still call Sri Ram Ashram their home. We met some of the children and got to learn about their successes. The Sri Ram Ashram school provides an excellent education to these kids from early kindergarten to high school. A lot of their graduates attend universities and professional institutions. We are thrilled to be part of this fine institution.
